July 13, 2016

Hello friends,

I am excited to share some great news!  Thanks to L.E.A.P., my play/readers theatre, Junk Food Junkie No More, will be performed for the first time by the participants of a summer program for youth in Chicago.

Junk Food Junkie No More is a fun and lyrical educational piece encouraging young people to make healthy lifestyle changes.  The play supports my mission to combat childhood obesity.  Participants will receive a full stage production experience by talented volunteers from the Chicago area.  Sponsoring organizations include New Mission Temple C.O.G.I.C., L.E.A.P. (Literary Exquisite Arts Project), Jazzi Creations Publishing Service, Daddy’s Club, Eye 4 Graphics, and Lifestyle 120.  This 6-week project culminates with a live theatrical performance on Sunday, August 14 at 3:15, at New Mission Temple C.O.G.I.C. located at 4700 W. Polk in Chicago.

I am writing to ask for your support during our fundraising campaign which is going on now through August 14.  Your contributions will help pay for costumes, props, stage design, printing fees, healthy snacks for the cast during rehearsals, and other costs needed for making this a successful production.  Any amount you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated.

There are three options for making a donation:  send contributions to www.jazzicreations.com/play, www.lifestyle120.com, or mail a check to Lifestyle 120, P.O. Box 474, Hinsdale, IL 60522-0474.  On the memo section write JFJNM Performance.
