Blending with Vitamix

Aha Moments: A Few Reflections on Wellness

Vitamix SmoothieAll blenders are not created equal. If you are not satisfied with the standard blender sitting on your kitchen counter, consider switching to a superb, high-powered blender like Vitamix.

Vitamix’s high performance technology produces smooth and creamy smoothies, soups and so much more. A separate container for dry grains, nuts and seeds is ideal for grinding your own flours and nut butters.

I’ve used many blenders over the years and didn’t realize my beverages could have been greatly improved, until my dermatologist told me about Vitamix. She explained that Vitamix blended the pulp into a lighter, more delicate and palatable texture unlike those created by traditional brands. At first, I was somewhat skeptical. How could a blender improve the texture without me having to add more water? Since blending was part of my regular health routine, I decided to invest in the best and was amazed!

Aha Moments: A Few Reflections on Wellness

ripple effect“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”—Mother Teresa

A simple gesture of kindness creates a ripple effect!

Before I leave home each day to run errands or meet an associate for lunch, I establish a positive outlook and set an intention on making a difference in someone’s life.

Last week, during one of the busiest mailing days of the year, I encountered an abundance of good will at the post office. It started with the door being held open for me by a gentleman who was leaving the building. As I smiled and said, “Thanks, have a wonderful holiday,” he replied, “Merry Christmas to you”! I stepped inside and was delighted to see an unusually short line—only seven people—and two were moving up to the counter.
