Establish an Attitude of Gratitude

“The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.”—Eric Hoffer

How do you increase the greater good in all areas of your life?  By giving and by getting into the flow of gratitude.  When we cultivate an attitude of gratitude, we are transmitting vibrations of love, peace and prosperity.  Today, we are all impacted by the tragic events occurring in our world.  More than ever, it’s imperative to become an active channel of grace, light and healing in our communities.  One individual can make a difference.  Begin by expressing gratitude for your blessings.

Gratitude is like a magnet. The more attention you give it, the more blessings you attract.

Do you wish you could exhibit a more positive attitude?  Become spiritually empowered by focusing on gratitude.  Begin each day with thanksgiving.  As part of your morning ritual, verbally express five things for which you are grateful and watch how your attitude changes.  Entertain this mindset throughout the day and expect to attract more blessings.

Position Yourself in the Stream of Grace

Do you have an available portal in which to receive grace?  Grace is accessible through a thankful heart.  Isn’t that wonderful!  And although gratitude journals are great, let’s go public with our appreciation!  Devise a plan to personally demonstrate thanksgiving and notice how it affects those around you.

Ideas for Expressing Appreciation All Year Long

-- Call a dear relative you haven’t spoken to in a while.

-- Take a co-worker to lunch.

-- Tweet about your positive experience with a stranger.

-- Handwrite and mail a loving note to your significant other.

-- Post on Facebook how someone inspired you.

-- Express appreciation for waking up this morning.  (Oh, the things we take for granted!)

-- Send a bouquet to your local fire department thanking them for their bravery and       community service.

-- Tell the store manager about the special attention you received from an employee.

“God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.  Have you used one to say, ‘Thank you?’ ”—William Arthur Ward

Envision yourself stronger, wiser and more compassionate by being grateful today.

Diabetes Awareness Month

November is Diabetes Awareness Month.  According to the American Diabetes Association, 86 million Americans, including children, have prediabetes.  You can lower your risk of developing type 2 diabetes by taking control of your health.

Three key words:  Diet.  Exercise.  Weight.

Prepare wholesome meals, initiate a physical fitness program and maintain a healthy weight.  And if you smoke, investigate strategies that will help you quit!

Healthy living can prevent chronic diseases, but it may be challenging to create and activate a personal plan alone.  Do you require support with your wellness goals this season?  Schedule a complementary breakthrough session with me this week.  Click here to schedule an appointment.

Consider This

Find the good despite the appearances.  If you are going through a challenging time, identify something—anything—that you can be thankful for right now.  And remember this:  You are shaping your future with each thought!
