Stay On Your Toes: For Best Results Switch Up Your Weekly Fitness Routine

How’s your fitness routine going?
If you’ve been watching my videos, you know all the reasons why moving more helps improve the quality of life and strengthens the mind, body and spirit connection. And there’s more — your commitment to honoring a regular exercise program is a conscious decision, expressing love and compassion for yourself as you continue your life journey.

Now, I’m aware that exercise routines can become stale over time. In order to feel successful and remain engaged, it’s important to periodically mix things up a bit. Interjecting fun and variety into your weekly scheme challenges your muscles to perform at their best so you can continue to see results.

I have something new for you to try.
It’s a nine-minute YouTube routine by Fit Now Official. This sequence will add the go to your morning get-up. Last year, I began turning myself on to this energizing routine and bounced my day into high gear. You’re going to get cardio and total body strengthening movements all in less than ten minutes. Keep this up and you might even bust a few stubborn pounds.

Doable Bs and Ps
What’s included? Burpees and planks. I know — sounds grueling, right? I have to admit that Bs and Ps can be super challenging, but the way they are modified and integrated into the routine, makes this wake-up call totally doable. If you have trouble holding a plank for one minute, you’ll be planking for more than one minute at intervals and not even notice. And I promise — no jumping and struggling!

The sequence is varied and brilliant — just thirty-seconds for each movement. It’s recommended that you follow this workout in the morning or in the evening. I suggest you test it out, and decide what works best for you. I personally like first thing in the morning, but whatever your choice, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the positive results. The things I noticed right away were greater range of motion, flexibility and endurance.
