Summon Your Courage: What Would Your Life Be Like If You Knew You Could Not Fail?

How different would your life be if you knew you could not fail? What would you initiate? Would your view of life change?

Too often, I hear stories of seasoned sisters who are ready to relinquish their dreams and succumb to a lackluster life. Many have removed themselves from the creative process, because of the date on their birth certificate. Their limited mindset is expressed in self-defeating statements like: I don’t have what it takes to fulfill my lifelong dreams — What will people say, if I start something and it doesn’t work out? — Who is going to listen to a person like me, anyway?

And my reply is: “Don’t postpone your dreams any longer. Begin where you are.” This is the best time to put power to your purpose and passion. You have a lot of years left, and you deserve to live them to the fullest!

Now, I realize that what I’m suggesting is easier said than done, so I want to offer some motivation today to get you going. Are you familiar with the lyrics to the inspiring song by Jana Stanfield called, “If I Were Brave?”

What would I do, if I knew that I could not fail?
If I believed, would the wind always fill up my sail?

My dear friend, you were not created to live a diminished life. Resuscitate that dream that’s been archived in your heart. Caress it. Nourish it. Fall in love with it again. This is the season to kick your reservations to the curb and step out in faith. Get started today by activating your three big bones, as your structure of support.

How far would I go? What could I achieve,
Trusting the hero in me?

The reason you’re still entertaining your dream is because Spirit is trying to communicate with you about your future. You’ve placed yourself on pause too long. Hit play and invite your inner girl to discover what’s possible. Activate your Spiritual LIFE Principles of Love, Integrity, Faith and Enthusiasm, and know that you already have everything you need to proceed. Get started building your confidence by investing in lifelong learning.

Take a deep breath and zealously declare, “I am a believer. I am gifted and creative. I have unique talents and experiences to share with others.” Mark your calendar to take further action by stepping up to demonstrate your talents.

I'd never lose faith, even when losing my way.
What step would I take, today, if I were brave?

Never lose sight of your potential. Put faith first. Use it to boost your confidence and to trust the process. The world is waiting for courageous people like you!
